Tealightful Vanilla Caramel Chai

This morning I felt like a little spice in my tea.  I chose Vanilla Caramel Chai. With its gorgeous dark golden red color, this black tea has the chai spices you’d expect — cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom, star anise, and peppercorns.  My favorite part of this chai is the addition of caramel and vanilla.  For me, these two additions mellow out the chai just a bit.

Without adding anything to it, this tea has a definite chai bite.  I can definitely taste the ginger and the clove.  Since I’m not a big fan of anise, it’s lovely that this blend captures its essence without being too strong. If you need to be warmed on a cold day, this is the tea to choose.

To make it a more traditional chai, consider adding a little milk and perhaps one of our caramel honey sticks.  Mmmmm…  Easing into a Sunday.

Tealightful Lemon Ginger Green review

I’m sorry; I’m not one of those people who can drink hot tea during hot weather.  At least I can’t unless I’m in air conditioned space most of the time. That describes me pretty well during the late days of summer in Florida.  It was on one of these days I tried this tea.

I love lemon and am coming to love the zing of ginger in hot tea as well.  This green tea blend is a great balance of just enough lemon for that sweet/tart lemon flavor complemented by that ginger “zing”.  It is not too grassy in taste, light in color with a fragrance I find quite calming.  I love to open the bag and inhale deeply.

A friend who loves this tea suggested to me it would probably be quite refreshing iced.  You can check that out for yourself.  Personally, I’m enjoying the indulgent color, aroma, taste, and centering of having it hot. It may quite some time before I get around to trying it iced.

Health and abundant happiness…

New! New! New!

It’s the time of year for changes and updates. It’s time to think about cooler weather, shared holiday time with friends and family, and finding some quiet, snuggly time for ourselves once in a while.

At Tealightful, we are ready to help you enjoy these changes with minimum effort and maximum enjoyment.

Our new catalog is filled with lots of new teas (many unflavored ones at your request), dessert cremes, and lovely tea accessories to make all your upcoming events relaxing and your gift shopping easy.

We also have a new website address.  I’ve updated all my links here to reflect the change.  If you need it to pass it along to a friend, it’s www.tealightfultea.com.

I hope you’ll join me in a cup of tea soon.  I love sharing a cup with friends — both old and new.

Where am I — Part 2

It’s been a long time since I’ve taken the time to post, much longer than I realized. I’m not sure how many people will actually see this.

Still, I have some loyal and patient fans and customers and I wanted you to know why I’ve been away so long.  First, I LOVE my Tealightful tea business and sharing that love with all of you. Sometimes, however, life just gets in the way of the things we prefer to do.  That’s what’s happened to me.

In my case, it’s my mom’s deteriorating mental and physical health.  I am fortunate to have her close by and in a beautiful facility surrounded by caring people.  Even with this, she still relies quite a bit on me.  I am the stable, easily recognizable presence in her life.

I appreciate your continuing support as I work to balance my personal and tea business lives. I can’t wait to have another Virtual Tea, share a cuppa and relax with my tea-loving friends.

Wow! That Virtual Tea – What a Ride!

Sorry for the delay with the Virtual Tea report.  I’ve been busy since Thursday, welcoming new fans to my Facebook page and fielding questions about the Virtual Tea.  Hooray!

The premier Virtual Tea was a huge success.  I want to stop right here and thank each and every participant – the “other” Annette from FL, Deb from MA, Theresa from MI, Beth from FL, Kathy from CA, Janis from SC and Sarah from England.  Thank you truly, ladies.  I could not have asked for a better group for our first Virtual Tea.

If you’re interested in seeing our results, you can follow the thread from our Virtual Tea on my Facebook business page, Tea with Annette.  Here you will see the Tealightful teas and blends we reviewed as well as reviews for a couple of other Tealightful products.  Be sure you see Sarah’s video review from England.  What a surprising and tea-lightful addition that was.  When you are ready to place your order, I hope you will find these reviews helpful in making your selections.  Place your order here, or under the side heading on this page “Must See Tea Links, Tea shopping with Annette”

I’m already in the planning stages of the Virtual Tea for August.  Here’s what you need to know if you want to participate.  Right now I’m thinking about Monday, August 20th at 4P ET, to be confirmed within a few days.  You will need internet access, a Facebook account (You can create one for free and de-activate it when the Virtual Tea is over if you choose.), a willingness to taste test and review a tea or blend and about 30 minutes of your time to post your reviews and interact with other participants.  Let me know by sending me a PM on Facebook or email me at tea4u@cfl.rr.com as soon as possible.

Again, thank you everyone for your participation and enthusiasm for the Virtual Tea.  It would have been impossible without you.

A Virtual Tea

In case you missed this information on my other sites and social media, here’s what you need to know about my upcoming Virtual Tea.

First, the Virtual Tea is on Thursday, July 26 at 3:30P ET.  We will be meeting on my Facebook page, also called Tea with Annette, at that time.  Only 15-20 minutes of your time is required.  As long as you have internet access and a Facebook account, you can participate.

Second, I’m looking for a group of 8-10 participants for this first Virtual Tea. I have seven (7) registered already so we still have space for a few more.  The deadline for registering is Thursday, July 12.  This deadline will give me plenty of time to be sure everyone receives their tea samples in time for the Virtual Tea.  I will be mailing out samples of our Tealightful teas and a couple of people have agreed to taste test food products.  At our designated meeting time on Facebook we will get to know our fellow tea lovers and get their reviews of the teas and foods they tested.

If you are interested in participating this time, let me know soon.  You can comment here, PM me on Facebook or contact me on Twitter.  If you’re interested but this day, date or time is not good for you, let me know.  I have a waiting list with three (3) others who have conflicts as well.  I will be working to schedule another Virtual Tea soon to accommodate this group.

I’m looking forward to kicking back with my cup or glass of tea, meeting some fellow tea lovers and getting some great feedback on our products.  I hope you can join us.

Finally up and running…

Welcome to Tea with Annette.  A dream finally realized.

I have been thinking about this website for almost two (2) years now.  And frankly, I’m still not sure it’s exactly what I want, but sometimes you just have to leap off the cliff and start flapping your wings.

I hope you will enjoy stopping by from time to time.  I’ll be posting tea-related photos, like some of my favorite teapots, sharing tea news that I come across, events I am either attending or planning, Tealightful specials and more.  My goal is to make this your one stop for all things tea.

I welcome your comments and suggestions to make this site better for you. You can follow me on Twitter and “like” my Tea with Annette page on Facebook.

Looking forward to sharing some tea time with you.  Until then, wishing you health and abundant happiness…
